Palmer-Christiansen Company was founded in 1946 by Harold Christiansen and Val Palmer. The company initially did a great deal of school construction work. Harold W. Christiansen joined the company in 1963. Growth continued in the 70s and 80s. During the 1980s the company constructed several high profile projects in Salt Lake City. These included LDS Hospital, Eagle Gate Office Tower and Primary Childrens Hospital. We continued our tradition of constructing landmark projects with the construction of a wide range of notable projects that include: Grand America Hotel, Salt Lake City Library, Intermountain Medical Center and Riverton Hospital.
